Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 1:28 a.m. todat, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of Market Street and Seeley Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police located a 48-year-old male Hackensack resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Based upon the initial investigation, it was determined that the victim was standing in the area of Market Street and Seeley Street when he was struck by gunfire.
A potential crime scene was located in that area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
