UPDATE: 42- Year Old Man Killed in Paterson Shooting

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that on Sunday, at approximately 5:43 p.m., police officers responded to the area outside of 21 Belle Avenue in the City of Paterson in response to a report of shots fired.

Upon their arrival, the officers discovered evidence of a crime scene outside the residence of 21 Belle Avenue where the shooting had taken place, however the victims were no longer on scene.

A short time later, two victims arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center by way of a private vehicle. Fabian Anglin, 42 years old from Paterson, was admitted with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, however Anthony Anglin, 38 years old from Paterson, suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound and succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 6:25

p.m.
