UPDATE: 35-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

PATERSON: Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 3:30, a.m. Sunday morning members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of East 26th Street Paterson, NJ on a report of shots fired.

Authorities say upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old male Paterson resident who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment police said.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
