UPDATE: 30-Year-Old Man Shot on 23rd Street in Paterson

Passaic County officials said that at approximately 10:42 p.m. on April 7, Paterson Police officers were dispatched to the area of East 23rd Street and 4th Avenue on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, members of the Paterson Police Department located a 30-year-old male Paterson resident male suffering from non-fatal gunshot wounds.

Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said responding officers immediately rendered aid, and the individual was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
