UPDATE: 29-Year-Old Man Injured by Gunfire in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 2:44, a.m. on Friday morning members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of McBride Avenue Paterson on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival the police were advised a victim was being transported to the hospital for medical attention.

Police say a short time later members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 29- year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
