Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately, 3:26, a.m. on Thursday members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of 21st and Madison Avenue on a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officials say police located a 28-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was immediately transported to St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment according to officials.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
