UPDATE: 28-Year-Old Man Struck by Gunfire in Paterson

Authorities in Passaic County reported that at approximately 5:18 p.m. on Monday,  Paterson Police responded to the area of 12th Avenue and Carroll Street on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene and a 28-year-old male Paterson resident suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.

According to Paterson Police, the victim was immediately transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation remains active, ongoing and no arrests have been reported.
