UPDATE: 28-Year-Old Man Shot on Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 10:40, a.m. on December 5, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard Paterson, on a report of a shooting.

According to police, upon arrival, officers located evidence of a crime scene and a 28-year-old male Paterson resident who suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
