UPDATE: 27-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 9:42, p.m. on Monday, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 27-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police say based on the preliminary investigation it is believed the shooting took place in the area of East 22nd Street.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
