UPDATE: 26-Year-Old Man Shot on in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald, and Passaic County Sheriff Richard H. Berdnik announce that at approximately 2:45, a.m. Saturday morning, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Hamilton Avenue Paterson, on a report of a shooting.

Shortly thereafter members of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department located a 26-year-old male Paterson resident in the rear of a motor vehicle who suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to the Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

A potential crime scene was located in the area of Summer Street Paterson.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
