Passaic County authorities announced that at approximately 12:50 a.m. today, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Park Avenue and Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located evidence of a crime scene and a 25-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound was located in the area of Park Avenue and Pennington Street in Paterson.
Police said the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Pa for treatment. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
