UPDATE: 24-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County officials are reporting that at approximately 7:46 p.m. on Tuesday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of North 3rd and Temple streets on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, members of the Paterson Police Department located evidence of a crime scene but could not find a victim.

A short time later, members of the Paterson Police Department were notified of a 24-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained two non-fatal gunshot graze wounds where he took refuge in a residence in the area of North 3rd and Temple streets.

Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
