UPDATE: 23-Year-Old Paterson Man Found Shot Inside Building Hallway

Passaic County officials announced that at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Governor and Auburn streets on a report of shots fired.

While responding, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a shooting victim was in the hallway of a building on Auburn Street.

Upon arrival, responding officers located a 23-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

A potential crime scene was located in the area of Governor and Auburn streets.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
