UPDATE: 22-Year-Old Shot in Paterson; Suspect At-Large

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 4:15, a.m. on Sunday members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 22-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

According to a statement released by The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, based on the initial investigation it is believed the shooting occurred in the area of East 42nd Street and Market Street.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
