UPDATE: 21-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County authorities reported that at approximately 9:40 p.m. on December 22, Paterson Police officers were dispatched to the area of North 3rd and Jefferson streets after a report of shots fired. 

Upon arrival, police located a 21-year-old male Paterson man suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Police said the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the shooting occurred in the area of Manchester Avenue and Crosby avenues.

Police discovered a potential crime scene in that area.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
