UPDATE: 20-Year Old Shot in Paterson

Passaic County officials said at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to Arch and North Main streets in Paterson on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, police located evidence of a crime scene but were unable to find a victim.

A short time later, police members of the Paterson Police Department were advised a 20-year-old male Paterson resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Based on the initial investigation, the victim was in the area of Arch and North Main streets in Paterson when he was shot.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
