Passaic County authorities reported that at approximately 9:39 p.m. on October 8, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of North 9th Street and Belmont Avenue on a report of shots fired.
Upon officers’ arrival, they located a potential crime scene, but no victim was located.
Shortly thereafter, members of the Paterson Police Department were advised that a 19-year-old female Allentown, Pennsylvania resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
