UPDATE: 18-Year-Old Man Shot in Paterson

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Troy Oswald announce that at approximately 2:20 a.m. Sunday morning members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Market Street on a report of a shooting victim.

Upon arrival police located an 18-year-old male Paterson resident who sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim was immediately transported to St Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

Police say at this time no crime scene has been located.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
