Authorities in Newark are are investigating a shooting that injured a 17-year old girl today.
Police say ar approximately 3:20 p.m., police responded to the 800-block of Broad Street on a call of shots fired.
Responding officers located the victimn suffering a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to University Hospital for treatment a in stable condition.
This incident remains under investigation.
