UPDATE: 13 Buses, Transportation Vehicles Damaged in Early Morning East Orange Fire

Fire officials in East Orange are investigating a fire that destroyed several vehicles at a location in the city on Tuesday morning.

According to a statement released by East Orange officials, at approximately 5:14 am, the East Orange Fire Division responded to a report of a fire at 120 Evergreen Place in the rear of the Ramada Inn, fire officials said.

Officials say upon arrival, firefighters found a fleet of 13 buses, a combination of school and transport vehicles, on fire. F&A Transportation, Inc owns the buses.

According to officials, the fire was put under control at 5:45 am. It is unclear at this time the extent of the damages to the vehicles or how the incident impacted the company's regular morning routine.

There were no personal injuries or damage to other property, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by East Orange Fired Department's Arson Investigator.
