Union Township’s Movies Under the Stars Returns

The Township of Union Recreation Department is proud to bring back their Movies Under the Stars through the Department of Recreation for its third year.

The event, which is held at Rabkin Park, draws residents from all around town, providing a one of a kind source of family entertainment.

The first movie schedule for Friday, June 24 at 8:45 p.m. will be 'Star Wars' The Force Awakens.

In this exciting continuation of the Star Wars saga, visionary director J.J. Abrams brings to life the motion picture event of a generation. As Kylo Ren and the sinister First Order rise from the ashes of the Empire, Luke Skywalker is missing when the galaxy needs him most. It's up to Rey, a desert scavenger, and Finn, a defecting stormtrooper, to join forces with Han Solo and Chewbacca in a desperate search for the one hope of restoring peace to the galaxy.

Admission to Movies Under the Stars are free and a limited of free popcorn will be available.

For those participating in the KidVenture program, passport books and stickers will be available at the Department of Recreation tent.
