Officials in Newark are reporting that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two women, who were in the vicinity of a firearm discharge that occurred on Tuesday, August 25.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 4:10 a.m., police responded to the 200 block of South 8th Street on a Shot Spotter notification.
Police say no victim has been located, but the detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in identifying the two females, wanted for questioning as part of this investigation.
