Two Women, Man Injured in Trenton Shooting Incident

Trenton Police are investigating a shooting incident that injured three victims in the city on Monday evening. 

According to police, at approximately 8 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired that erupted near 180 Walnut Avenue.

Several units arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no victims were found after they searched the area.

Police said while detectives canvassed the area, officials at Helen Fuld Medical Center notified them that two females and a male entered the emergency department suffering bullet wounds. 

The trio told police that a gunman fired shots at them on Walnut Avenue before he fled the scene.

All of the patients are expected to survive, according to police.

The motive for e the attack is under investigation.
