Police in Newark request the public’s help in identifying two male suspects who are wanted in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Wednesday, April 12.
According to a statement released by police, the victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked at Branford Place near Washington Street between 11:55 a.m. and 12:20 p.m.
Police said detectives investigating this incident observed the two suspects on video surveillance camera taking the victim's backpack containing a black iPad with a blue cover and a gray MacBook Air from the vehicle.
Director Fragé urges anyone with information about the identity of either of these suspects to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
