Two Struck by Gunfire in Willingboro; Critical Injuries Reported
There are life-threatening injuries reported for one of two victims who were shot at a location in the Burlington County town of Willingboro during the overnight hours.
The incident happened at around 1 a.m. where police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of Millbrook Drive and Middlebury Lane.
Officers arrived at the scene found two severely injured victims suffering multiple gunshot wounds at that location.
While police taped off the location and searched for a suspect, EMS transported the victim to Lourdes Willingboro Hospital where doctors treated both unidentified patients according to preliminary reports.
One of the victims suffered a gunshot wound to the back of the head and neck while the other victim was struck to the arm and neck according to reports.
Philadelphia media outlets are reporting this as a possible drive-by shooting.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined. Police say there were no arrests made.
