Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after they were hit by a car in Hackensack Wednesday afternoon.
According to authorities, shortly before 2 p.m., two people were struck by a car on River Street and East Salem Street.
Police say the two unidentified victims were transported to Hackensack University Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured but was issued summonses.
