A deadly early morning shooting in Millville left two men dead Sunday as authorities launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the gunfire.
Police responded to the area of 815 North High Street at approximately 3:40 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office identified the victims as Ashley Brown, 32, of Cedar Street in Millville, and Andy Steven Brazil, 32, of East Landis Avenue in Vineland.
Both men succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead.
The Millville Police Department and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit are leading the investigation.
Authorities said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
