Two Injured in Shooting Near Stout, Holsman Streets in Paterson

Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 9:14 p.m. on March 3, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Stout and Holsman streets in Paterson on a report of shots fired.

According to police, upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located two 28-year-old female Paterson residents who had sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds inside a motor vehicle. 

Officials said that the victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

Based on preliminary information the victims were driving in the area of Stout and Holsman streets when multiple shots were fired. 

Police said that the victims fled the area and pulled over in the area of North Main Street and Jefferson Street where they were located by members of the Paterson Police Department.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
