Police are investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital overnight.
Multiple rounds of gunfire rang out at around 12:30 a.m. in the 30's block Victoria Street sending several police units to the scene where a crime scene was immediately established after authorities found a male victim suffering injury from gunfire.
The victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the back and was rushed to University Hospital where he was reported to be in serious condition this morning.
A woman was transported to the hospital with injuries sustained from attempting to flee the scene but did NOT suffer injury from gunfire. The woman is expected to be ok.
Police are looking for a short black male who fled the scene wearing a grey hoodie.
