Two 15-Year-Old Students Struck by Vehicle in Scotch Plains

Two 10th grade students at the Union County Vo-Tech students were struck by a car this afternoon in Scotch Plains.


Police responded to Raritan Road shortly after 12:30 p.m. for a report of pedestrians struck by vehicle.


Upon arrival, police found two 15-year-old students - male and female - from Academy for Allied Health Sciences suffering non life-threatening injuries.

Both student were transported to University Hospital in Newark. 

No summonses have issued.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances that lead to the accident.
