Mercer County law enforcement officials are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured several individuals in Hamilton overnight.
Shortly before 1:25 a.m., officials at the Regional Medical Center notified police when three victims entered the emergency room suffering bullet wounds.
Police say two victims suffered severe injuries while the third person is in stable condition.
Detectives learned that the shooting happened in the single-digit block of East 6th Avenue.
A crime scene was located, but after police searched the neighborhood, no injuries were reported.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of the shooting.
