The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office has taken over the investigation into an overnight shooting that has a man Gravley injured in Trenton.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to several 911 calls reporting shots fired the 400 block of Garfield Avenue shortly after midnight.
Police say officers arrived and found a male victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds at that location.
He was rushed to Capital Health Trauma Center, where medical officials listed the unidentified victim in critical condition.
Detectives from The Mercer County shooting response team were on the scene handling the investigation.
No arrests have been reported.
