Police in Trenton are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital overnight.
The incident was reported before 9:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Stuyvesant Avenue where police responded to reports of shots fired.
Units arrived at the scene to find evidence that a shooting occurred but no victim was located.
According to reports, the victim showed up a short time later to the hospital, via private vehicle, suffering a gunshot wound to the stomach.
Police are investigating the motive for the shooting.
There were no arrests reported.
