Trenton Police Investigate Early Morning Shots Fired in Residential Area

Trenton police are currently investigating an incident where several shots were fired in a neighborhood early Saturday morning.AdOfficers were called to the 1600 block of Riverside Drive around 1:40 a.m. following reports of gunfire.

Upon their arrival, they found shell casings on the ground but no immediate signs of any victims.

Further investigation revealed that the gunfire had hit one house in the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported inside the home.

Police thoroughly checked the area, but they did not find anyone harmed in the vicinity.

The individual or individuals responsible for the shooting had left the scene before police arrived and have not yet been apprehended.

The reason behind the gunfire is still under investigation as authorities continue to gather information and appeal for witnesses to come forward.
