Police in Trenton are investigating an overnight shooting that left a man in critical condition at a location in the city.
According to police, the unidentified male was found near 925 Street suffering multiple gunshot wounds after police responded to shots fired around 8:27 p.m.
The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where doctors began surgery immediately.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office has been notified and responded to the crime scene.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and remain at-large.
