Trenton police issued a trauma alert Saturday night after a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds in a city neighborhood, according to authorities.
The shooting occurred around 8:35 p.m. in the area of Hoffman Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue.
Responding officers arrived to find a male victim with serious injuries resulting from gunfire.
Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was immediately placed under urgent care due to the severity of his injuries.
Trenton police have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting, and no motive has been determined.
The incident remains under active investigation.
