Multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the area of Frelinghuysen Ave. and Van Vetchen Street at around 4:45 p.m. sending scores of police to the scene.
Police found a male victim around the age 24-years-old, shot multiple times at that location. The man was rushed to an area hospital where his condition has not been released. A thorough search of the area had police locating another male victim shot inside a vehicle in the 100 block of Dayton Street. The victim was taken to the hospital reportedly with a non-life threatening leg injury.
A third victim left the scene, arriving at Beth Israel Hospital reportedly with a head injury.
A blue BMW with heavily tinted windows, occupied by three black males reportedly fled the scene.
Police have a large crime scene in the area.
