Camden Police are investigating a violent overnight incident in which three people were stabbed by an individual reportedly armed with an ax.
Authorities say the attack occurred around 1:05 a.m. inside a rooming house in the 1500 block of Mt. Ephraim Avenue.
When officers arrived, they immediately requested EMS after finding three victims suffering from stab wounds.
One victim sustained a severe head injury and is listed in serious condition.
The conditions of the other two victims were not immediately disclosed but are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police have identified a suspect connected to the attack, though it remains unclear whether an arrest has been made.
The motive behind the violent encounter is still under investigation.
The incident remains active and ongoing.
