Three Bergen County men have been arrested following a daytime shooting that left a man injured near a residential complex in Englewood, authorities said.

According to a statement released by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the incident took place around 11 a.m. on April 1 in the area of the Park View Housing Apartments.
Responding officers located a 33-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
An investigation led by the prosecutor’s Major Crimes Unit, alongside the Englewood Police Department, determined that three individuals — Jalen S. Everett, 24, of Lodi; Joshua M. Khan, 19, of Englewood; and Louis B. Placide, 20, of Cresskill — were involved in the shooting.
Authorities said Khan allegedly fired a handgun multiple times, striking the victim twice before fleeing the scene.
Everett and Placide were taken into custody shortly after while attempting to leave the area.
During the arrests, investigators recovered a handgun, ammunition, marijuana, and drug-related items.
A second firearm believed to have been used in the shooting was later recovered, and Khan was apprehended the following day in Elmwood Park with assistance from the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team.
Officials said Khan is facing charges including attempted murder and weapons offenses.
Placide faces multiple weapons and drug-related charges, while Everett is charged with various drug offenses.

All three defendants were lodged in the Bergen County Jail pending court appearances in Hackensack.
The investigation remains ongoing.
