Fire Officials in Bayonne are investigating a fire that broke out in the city early morning.
The raging three-alarm blaze ignited at the chassis facility at the Global Container Terminal that's located in the 40's block of 40's block of Military Ocean Terminal at around 2:45 am.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire tearing through a tent in the industrial area of the compound that reportedly housed gas tanks with reports of explosions.
Crews were able to bring the fire under control at around 4:30 am with no injuries reported.
Hazmat crews remained on the scene for the investigation.
The cause of the fire remains investigation.
