Authorities from multiple towns have joined forces after nine schools in Bergen and Passaic counties received threats this morning.
Among the schools evacuated or placed under "shelter in place" procedures were Leonia, Tenafly, Teaneck, Garfield, Fair Lawn, Hackensack, Englewood, Bergenfield and Clifton.
Although it's not clear if all of the threats are related, they were all automated, according to authorities.
According to officials, all of the schools have been cleared and deemed safe.
