There is an active investigation underway to find the motive into a shooting that sent a juvenile to the hospital overnight in Paterson.
The incident occurred in the 40's block of Carroll Street before 11:00 pm sending police to the scene after several rounds of gunfire was reported.
Officers arrived at the scene to find the victim -around the age 14- suffering a gunshot wound to the arm.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries.
It is not immediately clear if the teen was the intended target of the shooting.
Paterson Police have not announced an arrest at this time. The investigation is active and ongoing.
