A teenage boy is being transported to the hospital after gunfire struck him at a Paterson location this evening.
Police said gunfire rang out in h area of Jefferson and North Main streets around 4:35 p.m., sending police to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers found the 17-year-old victim suffering a non-life threatening bullet wound in his arm at that location.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
The suspect fled the scene as is at-large.
