A Teaneck man previously charged with inappropriately touching a client during a massage at a Bergen County spa is now facing additional charges after a second victim came forward, authorities announced Monday.

According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, 35-year-old Dequan Cedeno has been charged with three new counts of criminal contact following an ongoing investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Allendale Police Department.
The original incident occurred on March 15, 2025, when Allendale police contacted county investigators regarding an allegation involving Cedeno, who was working as a massage therapist at the Hand and Stone Spa in Allendale.
A female client reported that Cedeno engaged in unwanted explicit contact during a massage session.
He was arrested and initially charged with one count of criminal contact and was released after his first court appearance in Hackensack.
As the investigation progressed, detectives identified a second adult female client who alleged that Cedeno also engaged in similar inappropriate behavior during a massage on February 19, 2025, at the same spa location.
On April 7, Cedeno was taken into custody once again and charged with three additional counts of fourth-degree criminal contact.
He is currently being held at the Bergen County Jail pending a court appearance on the new charges.
The investigation remains active. Authorities are encouraging anyone with relevant information to contact the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Tips Line at (201) 226-5532.
