Suspects Sought in Separate Newark Shooting Investigations

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating four Newark men wanted in connection with four separate shooting investigations.

According to authorities, Najeeh Green, 27, is wanted on Aggravated Assault charges in connection with an incident that occurred on May 5th, 2018, on the 100-block of Hayes Street. Police described Green as 5’7” tall, 170 lbs., has a medium brown complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say, Altyree Moon, 27, is wanted on a charge of Aggravated Assault in connection with a shooting that occurred on July 26th, 2018 in the area of South Orange Avenue and Telford Street. Officials described Moon as 6’1” tall, 160 lbs., light brown complexion, straight brown hair and brown eyes. He has flames tattoos on his neck.

According to authorities, Almalik Ward, 42, is being sought on a charge of Aggravated Assault for a shooting that occurred on October 10th, 2018 in the area of Edmunds Place and Aldine Street. Police described Ward as 5’7” tall, 220 lbs., medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

Officials say, Lonnie Simmons, 22, is wanted on an Aggravated Assault charge for a shooting that occurred on November 7th, 2018. Officials described Simmons as 5’6” tall, 130 lbs., medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes. Police say he has a tattoo of a spider web on his left arm.

While police are actively searching for these suspects, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from the streets.

These investigations are ongoing.
