Newark authorities are looking for a man who stole merchandise from an eyeglass center that he broke into on August 22.
According to Newark Police, authorities responded to a burglar alarm at approximately 1:46 a.m. at the Urban Eyes Vision Center, located in the 200 block of Ferry Street.
When they arrived, the glass door to the entrance of the business had been shattered with a brick by the suspect, who was captured on surveillance video.
Police said once he gained entry, the suspect removed several items from the business and fled westbound on Ferry Street.
