Suspect Sought for Newark North Ward Burglary

Police officials in Newark seek the public's help identifying a male who is wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on Monday, July 5. 

According to police, the incident happened around 10:30 on that date in the city’s North Ward. 

Police say a male suspect unlawfully entered an apartment in the 100 block of Ridge Street then stole a laptop and jewelry case containing cash and jewelry.

The suspect is described as 5’8” to 5’10” tall and 175 lbs. with a tattoo of the name Michael on his left arm and a crown on the right hand or arm. 

While police are actively investigating this incident, they seek the public’s help in quickly identifying this suspect as part of this investigation.
