Newark Police are looking for a male suspect wanted in connection with a business burglary that occurred today, Friday, August 19.
According to police, at approximately 4:45 a.m., Police responded to the Park Avenue Super Deli & Grocery Store, located at 256 Park Avenue, on a burglary call.
Police said responding officers viewed the store’s surveillance cameras and observed the suspect enter through a rear window.
Cash in the amount of $300.00 to $400.00 was stolen along with other merchandise.
According to police, Newark Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in identifying this suspect as part of their investigation.
He is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, 5’8” tall and 160 pounds.
The suspect wore a black t-shirt with a Nike logo, blue jean shorts, and white Nike sneakers.
