Police in Orange are actively searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours on Saturday. 
According to preliminary reports, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Henry Street shortly before 2:30 a.m. following reports of an armed robbery in progress.
When units arrived, they located the victim who informed them that an armed suspect approached while riding a scooter and demanded personal possessions.
The suspect allegedly brandished a firearm, threatened the victim, and then made off with undisclosed items before fleeing the scene on the scooter in an unknown direction.
Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any physical injuries during the incident.
Authorities have launched an active investigation and believe the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police are urging the public to report any sightings or tips that may assist in locating the suspect.
