Surveillance: Cops Seek Man Who Stole Charity Donation Canister in Linden

Police are looking for a man they say stole a donation canister for autistic children September 25.

The owner of the Mini-Mart – located at 857 N. Stiles Street - recently discovered that a donation canister for autistic children was missing from their store counter. Employees then reviewed store surveillance camera footage and discovered that the theft occurred on September 25 at approximately 2:30p.m.

The man was observed purchasing a pack of cigarettes and then suddenly takes the canister from the counter and walks out of the store. Employees are estimating that the canister contained less than $100.00.

Suspect was described as a white male, mid 20’s to 30 years of age, brown hair, facial hair on chin, slight mustache, wearing a white tee shirt and blue jeans.
